How to change the location of the social proof feed and other campaigns

You may want to move the social proof feed or other components in the product detail page to different locations. You can do this in Fera by telling our server what component specifically you want to load instead of letting it assume.

Specifying The Campaign Type in In Shopify

In Shopify, to do this you just need to pass the desired campaign type into the include snippet code in your theme product template.

Here’s an example of how to tell Fera to only show the Product Detail Counter in the code block: {% include 'banana-stand-product-page-container' with campaign_type: 'product_detail_counter' %}

After you’e done this you can now move the social proof feed to a new locatiom, by putting this code somewhere else in the page template: {% include 'banana-stand-product-page-container' with campaign_type: 'social_proof_feed' %}

If you’re on one of our paid plans, we’re happy to do this kind of customization for you :). Just reach out and ask for help through our live chat or via email.

Specifying The Campaign Type in In Other Systems

In other systems you will have to simply edit the div container and add data-campaign_type="product_detail_counter" to specify which type of campaign you want that container to load.

For example: <div class="banana-container banana-view-container" data-product_id="123" data-container_type="view" data-campaign_type="product_detail_counter"></div> will only show the Product Detail Counter in that location.

Acceptable campaign type option values

Today there are 3 types of campaigns you can restrict on the product detail page containers: get_it_by_timer, product_detail_counter and social_proof_feed.
